Job Description:
Hours / Days: Both Day and Night Shifts Available
Salary: Based on Experience
Position: Full Time
Responsiblities:
Process all orders, including:
Obtaining necessary information from customer and inputting it accurately into the Comet system.
Relaying and recording any special requirements, changes or pertinent information to Dispatchers.
Keeping customers informed of any changes affecting their orders.
Recording all chain of events in the order notes.
Arranging delivery times with drop off locations.
Arranging 3rd party truck moves.
Processing orders that are received via fax machine or web.
Notification of customer incidents - as required, advising Sales, Hub’s or managers of any service failures or possible service challenges.
Monitoring alert board - as required, notifying customers on problem orders and processing accordingly.
Problem solving - handling and taking ownership of any inquiries and/or problems brought forward by a customer (internal / external). Ensuring proper follow through of issues.
Billing – gathering and providing necessary back up paperwork in order for billing to be completed.
